1st - 30th September 2010 30 Days to Mac a Difference: Charity Shop
During the whole month of September, St John's Shopping Centre will be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We have 30 Days to Mac a Difference but we need your help to make it happen.
Our dedicated charity shop and drop in centre, run by local Macmillan volunteers will be open every day during September at the South Street entrance to St John's Shopping Centre.
Pop in for a bargain and to help a good cause.
11th- 12th September 2010 Park World Tour
It started as a wild idea. A World Cup in park orienteering. A competition that would bring the orienteers into the cities, in front of people and the crowds. Park World Tour contributes to spreading orienteering all over the world, with the ultimate goal being inclusion in the Olympic Games.
In 2010, the Park World Tour will take place in Perth and will involve two races; a qualification race in the grounds of Scone Palace and a final in Perth City Centre. Twenty international elite orienteers will participate - all showcasing the fast growing sport of orienteering in front of expected large crowds of spectators.
The orienteers will include St John's Shopping Centre in their route on Saturday 11th September between 2pm & 5pm.
Saturday 11th September 30 Days to Mac a Difference: Water Aid
If you're thirsty, why not pop along to the shopping centre on Saturday 11th September and pop in a donation in return for a bottle of water, donated by Coca Cola - you'll not only quench your thirst, but you'll be donated to a great cause.

Sunday 12th September, 30 Days to Mac a Difference: Book Sale
Sundays are meant for a good book and a cup of steaming hot coffee.... so if you fancy the perfect Sunday why not pop along to the shopping centre on Sunday 12th September and pick up a book from our charity book sale in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

18th - 19th September
30 Days to Mac a Difference: Photographic Sale
If you like photography, why not pop in to the shopping centre on 18th & 19th September and choose from a selection of prints donated by some of the UK's leading professional photographers.
Select the print of your choosing and it will be printed up and delivered straight to your home address.

Friday 24th September, 10am 30 Days to Mac a Difference: World's Biggest Coffee Morning
Join us at 10am on Friday 24th September in Coffee Republic for a coffee morning spectacular, have a brew and do your bit for this great cause. 25p from every coffee sold will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

30 Days to Mac a Difference: The Big Balloon Release
Fancy a weekend away at the Fisher's Hotel in Pitlochry? Well now's your chance! For £1, buy one of our balloon tags and take your chances that your balloon will travel the furthest distance and help you win big!
Balloon Tags are available from the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity Shop in the South Street Mall and from Bonmarche in the King Edward Street Mall.
Our big balloon release will take place on Saturday 25th September at 1pm outside our King Edward Street entrance.

Tuesday 28th September 30 Days to Mac a Difference: STJ Does the Ben Nevis Challenge
Pop into St John's Shopping Centre on Tuesday 28th September between 10am and 4pm and lend your support to the team who are taking on a virtual Ben Nevis climbing challenge - a 1343m climb, on stepping machines, in the shopping mall.

Wednesday 29th September 30 Days: STJ Does the Macmillan Cancer Support Etape Caledonia
Pop into St John's Shopping Centre on Wednesday 29th September between 10am and 4pm and lend your support to the team who are taking on a virtual Macmillan Cancer Support Etape Caledonia cycling challenge - 83 miles, by bike, in the shopping mall.

Thursday 30th September 30 Days to Mac a Difference: STJ Runs from Dundee to Perth
Pop into St John's Shopping Centre on Thursday 30th September between 10am and 4pm and lend your support to our solo runner and personal trainer, Steven Bonthrone - who will run the 23 mile distance from Macmillan Cancer Support's offices in Dundee to their newly opened, state of the art palliative care unit at Perth Royal Infirmary. Steven will run the full 23 miles on a running machine in St John's Shopping Centre.

Friday 26th November 2010 Lightnight? Late Night!
St John’s Shopping Centre will be open until 8pm on Friday 26 November so pop in for a twinkling visit to Santa, a moonlit muffin, and a dazzling array of discounts and special offers available from our retailers.
