We are Ready to Welcome you Back

We are pleased to announce that St John’s Shopping Centre will reopen on Monday 13th July.

In line with the most recent Scottish Government guidelines, all non-essential retailers within a covered mall can open for business from Monday 13th July and as such we will reopen the centre to the public at 9am on this date.

Things will feel a little different when we reopen but if we all work together and look out for one another we can make the shopping experience as safe as possible for everyone.

Our number one priority is to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and retailers at all times, so we’re putting in place a range of new measures to ensure that St John’s Shopping Centre is a safe environment for all.

One-way System – There will be a one-way system in operation when we reopen, all customers will enter the centre via the High Street entrance and exit via South Street. The Scott Street and King Edward Street doors will remain closed for both entry and exit. You’ll see clear signage and floor markings reminding you of the one-way system, please move around the centre following these directions, please do not congregate or loiter at any time.

Social Distancing – We politely request that you maintain social distancing and avoid any physical contact when queueing and inside the Mall. We have limited the number of customers in the centre at any one time to ensure social distancing can be easily maintained.

Queue Controlled Areas – Each retailer will also have a customer limit to ensure that social distancing is possible once inside their store, as such there is a possibility you may need to queue outside in the mall area. We have marked out queueing areas outside each store, please only queue in these areas and follow the instructions given by staff.

Hygiene – We have already implemented an enhanced cleaning regime throughout the centre and touchless hand sanitising facilities will be available at the entrance and exit of the shopping centre. Please wash your hands at our sanitising station immediately after entering the centre and on leaving.

Toilets – Due to the current Government social distancing guidelines in place we are unable to open our public toilets, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The nearest available toilet to the centre is in Pullar House on Kinnoull Street, please CLICK HERE for a full list of available toilets in Perth City Centre.

Face Coverings – Face coverings will be mandatory when visiting the centre so please ensure to wear one at all times.

Opening Hours – The Shopping Centre will be open from 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday. Please note that last entry to the centre will be 30 minutes before the noted closing times.

Individual stores opening hours may vary, an up-to-date list of store opening hours can be found HERE, so please check before you visit. You can also contact us on 01738 629380 in advance of your visit to confirm any opening hours.
